Russell has built a broad client base over his years of practice. He did not inherit his clients from another attorney or purchase a practice, rather, he worked hard, spending years building relationships with individuals, businesses, and other attorneys to grow his referral network and client base. Russell understands the importance of maintaining these relationships and invests himself heavily in growing them. Russell’s primary practice areas are civil litigation and criminal defense.

Russell’s practice is diverse and includes civil litigation, personal injury, products liability, business and shareholder disputes, real estate law, and other matters. He also has extensive trial experience from his time as a deputy prosecutor. He has argued in front of the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court and handled administrative hearings.

Russell is often called upon to serve as local counsel for national law firms needing local support across the State of Indiana. Russell has served as co-lead counsel in class actions, as local trial counsel, and in a consulting role to lead counsel. Additionally, Russell has testified as an expert witness in attorney malpractice cases.

Russell is also active in professional and community organizations. He has previously served as the chair of the Indiana State Bar Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution Committee and has received two Presidential Citation Awards from the Indiana State Bar Association.
